Here are some interesting facts that I know about Moon Nan Tides.
First of all The moon has eight phases they are New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent. These eight phases repeat every 29.5 Days.
Did you know it takes 27.3 Days for the moon to orbit the whole earth. In one year there are actually12 New Moons.
When the month has had 2 full moons it is possible that the second one is a Blue Moon. Did you know that the New Moon rises at Sunrise and the Full Moon rises at sunset. The First Quarter rises at noon and the Last Quarter rises at midnight so when you are looking at the moon early at night and you cant see anything you could be looking at a New moon or possibly a Last quarter Moon.
The Moon is the 5th largest satellite in the whole solar system and the distance from the earth and the moon is over 3 thousand kilometres apart.
Next to tides every tide has a High Tide and a Low Tide no matter what.High Tide is when the tide is close to shore and Low Tide is when the tide is far away from land. High Tide no Low Tide is caused by the Gravitational Pull and force. There is exactly 2 High Tides in one day.
The big Question is does the moon and tide effect our lives on the bay???

Wow, some great facts you have shared in your post. I like the way you have ended with a question and that that question is our investigation. What will be great is when you publish your explanation and the answer to your question!
